I died...

Oh my goodness gracious!! As a work tradition we are supposed to dress up on Halloween, seeming as Halloween this year is on Saturday, we were all supposed to dres up today. All of the costumes I have seen so far are pretty rad, but I must say... mine is the most AMAZING, LIFE CHANGING, EPIC.. costume ever.

Zombie-fied!

First off...

I would like to thank the producer, writter, director and actors in the movie Fido. It is the shit.

I have watched it 23 times in the last week, not to mention watching it every night as I fall asleep. It has inspired my halloween costume, I will be a zombie, as well as my taste in music and attire. I bought the most epic shoes I've ever seen. Zombie Heels. Like I said they are epic.

In closing I'd like to say that my newest obsession with zombies, fido, and anything to do with halloween is helping to preoccupy my broken heart. I know it sounds silly, but I'd rather focus on things that are dead or creepy then focus on what's really going on, it's still all too painful to deal with right now, so ZOMBIES it is! <>

I've Never Listened To Good Advice...

Sorry for the delay in posting a new blog everyone. I've been caught up in things lately.

You know in the movie when Alice is sitting on the stump crying and singing "I've never listened to good advice"? Story of my life.

I am so upset with everything I can barely figure out what to say.

In other news:
Noah had his first preseason game (tackle football) on saturday. They lost, but only just. He did really well, and got really into it after the first quarter. Hopefully he'll keep at it and get more into it the more he plays.

Other other news:
I am getting a new phone. I loved my sidekick but the constant shutting off, restarting and losing information was getting really old. I'll be getting the G1 google phone. Fuh yeah! something to look forward to.

Other other other news:
Brittney and I will be giong to the Secondhand Serenade concert Oct. 7 I am stoked!!!
I am also going to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs with Bird on Sept. 13 and then the fair with Brittney on the 19th to see the band Going Second. Hella
I've pretty much been living off music and movies lately, trying to get my mind off things I can't control.

In A World All My Own...

My cousin and I were talking yesterday about how ideal it would be if there were no drugs in the world. No getting high, no over dosing, none of it. And in his sweet, simple mind, the solution would be:
"we should just burn all of it!"
I think if this happened, the entire world would be high for atleast a week. But if we could skip all that, and maybe just throw them out to space or something, I really think so many things would be different. Not just in my life, but in EVERYONES. You wouldnt see hookers as often, you wouldnt see crazy tweakers at walmart ever. There would be so much less crime.

In a world of my own so many things would be different. There wouldnt be war because everyone would respect everyone elses thoughts and beliefs. No violence because everyone would know that violence never solves anything (that is unless sluts creep on your boyfriend, then knocking them out would be quite effective), there would be enough food for everyone and nobody would over eat or horde food because sharing is caring and nobody would be prosecuted, teased, beaten, spit on, or tormented for who they love. Ah... wishful thinking!


In other news:
Mobi's birthday was friday. We had a boys part saturday night and Dillon slept over thurs-friday nights. So all in all I would say it was a successful birthday weekend for Noah. His best friend, Andrew, even called to wish him a happy birthday. He is the sweetest most adorable kid ever!

Contrary to popular belief, I think people deserve second chances and they deserve to be given credit where credit it is deserved. If someone is trying hard, and making progress and proves they love you and has it out for the world to see, call me stupid, but it's enough for me.

In other other other news:
Gabby and Noah will be going back to Idaho tomorrow. I am so sad and my separation anxiety has been kicked up 12 notches. I know its mnot perminent but who knows when my Bird will be back!! We have gotten along so well these last weeks that I dont know what I'll do without her. It's lame, but hopefully she will be back asap!



All Is Well In My Wonderland

It's a real WONDERland

With new relationships budding and old ones in full bloom, I feel like I am in the middle of the Garden, and all the flowers are pulling me in different directions, and telling me what to do. Hopefully in the end, whatever the outcome, I won't be seen as a weed!

In other news...
I had to go in and buy more crickets for Balu, Coraline and Aurora yesterday and PetCo only had the big ones left. (So disgusting! I can't stand crickets!) I think the crickets are almost as big as Aurora. I watched her (like I always do to make sure she eats) take one of the biggest ones and chase it around the pond and then finally catch it. I think she had to try and swallow that bugger three times. Balu and Coraline, of course, ate two each without trouble.

BIG NEWS!!
Mobi will be living here for the next school year! I was nervous mostly because of different parenting, but after my mom and dad sat us all down for a real family meeting, it seems like its going to be really good for Noah. I am really excited to be able to spend so much time with him, after all he is the Cats Pajamas! haha


All Is Well In My Wonderland.

My First Post!

Go team Alix! I have decided to make my own blog. I don't know exactly what to do just yet, but I am sure I'll get the hang of it in no time.
I will probably be writting most about trips I take (with a big one in August!), rad experiances I have, or things that really make me wonder.
And MAYBE! I will learn how to add pictures to each blog I do.

Anyways, for the blog today....
Gabby and Noah are here for the summer (at least until July 14) and so far it's been great! I've missed their company so much since they usually can only come for a weekend each month.
Yesterday we went bowling with Shay and had so much fun. Noah and I beat Shay and Gabby by 2 points the first round, then Gabby and I lost to Shay and Noah the second round, then Shay and I PONED Gabby and Noah the third round. All 3 games for 4 people.. 28$! I'd say that was a wise way to spend some mula.

With my pending trip, I have become a little stressed but mostly excited! England should be amazing, and I am really looking forward to seeing my friend Chris. Hopefully we get to go into London (as I will be flying into Birmingham) to see some of the museums and Big Ben. My nonni has given me some booklets and other things to look at that she brought home from her trip there with Poppi awhile back. I have taken care of my "sickness" issue by getting those motion sickness patches you put behind your ears so my trip there should really be the bees knees!
Only 43 more days!

In other news... my frogs, Aurora Balu and Coraline, are doing very well!! After Aurora began losing weight (Red flag for Fire Belly Toads) she has begun to act her self again, as well as gaining probably a quarter to a third of an ounce back! (I need to find a way to add pictures of them on here asap) A big relief for me because she is my favorite haha!
